Two Seasons in one update

This update covers September's Royal Academy Season and October's Brawl-O-Ween Season.

The biggest change is how you unlock Brawlers: Starr Road is gone, replaced by Brawler Blast. On top of that come two new Mythic Brawlers, six reworked Brawlers with new Buffies, new Hypercharges, the Hide & Seek mode and a large balance pass.

Brawler Blast

How it works

A shooting-gallery minigame: the Brawlers of the chosen rarity that you don't own yet become targets, you fire shots to knock them down, and the last one standing is unlocked. Rare and Super Rare Brawlers that used to come from Trophy Road are now unlocked here too.

Credit costs

Rare 160 · Super Rare 430 · Epic 925 · Mythic 1900 · Legendary 3800 · Ultra 5500. In 50% of cases you get to choose the Brawler (between 2, 3 or 4 options).

Gem Fragments

Each opening reveals up to 10 Gem Fragments that boost the unlocked Brawler: +1 to +4 Power Levels, plus Gadgets, Gears, Star Powers, Hypercharges or Buffies at higher counts. Max one of each upgrade and +10 Power Levels per opening.

New Brawlers

Cosmo
Mythic Controller

The lead astronomer at Starr Park's Observatory. Between lessons about the universe, Cosmo never stops gazing at the stars, searching for something...

Attack — Orbit
Fires 3 projectiles that orbit in a circle. They drift further apart as they travel, growing in size and damage.
Super — Gravitational Pull
Attaches a positive magnet to an enemy: every projectile fired by Cosmo's teammates gains extreme homing toward that target.
Gadget 1 — Planetary Pushback
Knocks enemies back from the targeted area.
Gadget 2 — Telescope Trap
Reveals an area for 6 seconds, invisible enemies included. Enemies inside can't use movement abilities (dashes, jumps, teleports).
Star Power 1 — Precession
Increases the orbit speed of the main attack by 25%.
Star Power 2 — Ammo Attractor
Hitting an enemy with the Super reloads 2 ammo.

Vince
Mythic Damage Dealer

The spooky barista of the Creepy Café, obsessed with caterpillars and moths. He arrives in October with Brawl-O-Ween.

Trait
Caterpillars spawn near Vince; hitting them or walking over them turns them into Moths for his collection. He loses 50% of the collection when defeated.
Attack — Espresso Shot
A fresh cup of coffee that damages enemies.
Super — Barista Barrage
A single projectile that inflicts a Caterpillar debuff: main attacks deal bonus damage to debuffed opponents.
Gadgets
Hot Coffee throws an explosive cappuccino for area damage. Metamothosis turns nearby Caterpillars into Moths, with a bonus Moth for each one collected.
Star Powers
Come to Papa makes nearby Caterpillars crawl toward Vince. Bug Bandage heals 1200 every time a Caterpillar becomes a Moth.

Reworks & new Buffies

Poco

Tuning Fork now heals nearby allies for 400 three times over 6 seconds; Protective Tunes creates a 4-second zone that removes and blocks negative effects. Da Capo and Screeching Solo are reworked, and the Medics Melody Hypercharge overheals into a decaying shield.

El Primo

Suplex Supplement dashes, grabs the first Brawler and throws him behind; Asteroid Belt destroys incoming projectiles for 2 seconds. El Fuego burns for 900 over 4s and Meteor Rush gives +25% speed for 4s after the Super.

Amber

Fire Starters places a 3500-health Oil Barrel that spills when destroyed. Wild Flames makes her fire fluid sticky, and Scorching Siphon now reloads on any enemy fire damage.

Gus

Knockback Spirit pushes enemies away and turns into a healing spirit; Health Bonanza doubles spirit healing and Spirit Animal boosts teammate damage by 25% for 5s.

Chuck

Full rework: Chuck starts with a full Super and stores up to 4 charges (4 posts), with no automatic charge. Health 4700 → 4400, dash damage 1750 → 800, range 20 → 18, projectile speed 1750 → 2700, and pole knockback removed.

Shade

Jump Scare becomes a short jump that fears enemies for 0.5s on landing, and The Frightener Hypercharge heals 1000 while inside walls.

New Hypercharges

New modes & modifiers

Hide & Seek

1 Seeker against 3 Hiders over 4 rounds of 45 seconds. The Seeker is faster, stronger and bigger but can't regenerate. Catching every Hider is worth 3 points; surviving until time-out is worth 1.

Prop Hunt

Stand still and you turn into a random wall or decoration on the map. Attacking reveals you. Available in Showdown, Gem Grab, Knockout, Bounty and Friendly Rooms.

Loaded Walls

Breaking walls spawns Bombs, Bowling Balls, Shuriken or Bumper Cars.

Friendly Fire

Every damage source hits teammates too.
