Ramen Rebellion

An automated noodle shop has opened across from Kenji & Kaze's sushi shop, catching the interest of their son, Nori. Turmoil ensues!

These are the most ambitious Seasons Brawl Stars has ever had: two connected Seasons, nine eventful weeks, and a story that might change a Brawler forever. Season 1 (NanoNoodles) features NanoDrops containing NanoPowers, while Season 2 (Windstock) features Smoothie Drops containing Fusions.

NanoPowers & NanoDrops

NanoDrops

Earned through Daily Wins, Mega Quests, Boss Fights, Side Quests, Contests and Creator QR codes. Each NanoDrop gives 3 picks from a set of 5 cups; each cup holds 0-3 NanoNoodles, and each NanoNoodle is a reward. Minimum 1 and maximum 9 NanoNoodles per drop. Every NanoDrop also fills the NanoMeter for extra rewards.

NanoPowers

106 NanoPowers across 4 rarities: Baseline, Augmented, Cybernetic and Quantum. Each NanoPower gives a Brawler 3 unique Powers; at the start of a match with the NanoPowers modifier active, the Brawler picks 1 of 2 offered Powers. NanoPowered Brawlers show a visible effect on the Brawler screen and Battle Card.

Do NanoPowers stay in Windstock?

Yes. NanoPowers keep working during the Windstock Season. If a Brawler with a NanoPower gains a Fusion, the Fusion replaces the NanoPower — Fusions are the more powerful variant.

Fusions & Smoothie Drops

Smoothie Drops

Earned through Daily Wins, Mega Quests, Topple the Tower, Side Quests and Creator QR codes. Each Smoothie Drop gives 3 picks from 5 cups; each cup holds 0-3 Gulps, and each Gulp is a reward. Minimum 1 and maximum 9 Gulps per drop, and each drop fills the Smoothie Meter for extra rewards.

Fusions

106 Fusions across the same 4 rarities: Baseline, Augmented, Cybernetic and Quantum. Each Fusion gives a Brawler 3 unique Powers — and in a match with the Fusion modifier active, 2 of those 3 Powers randomly fuse together, so the Brawler gets the benefits of both at once.

Where to find them

Fusion Brawlers show a visible effect on the Brawler screen and Battle Card, and both Fusions and NanoPowers live in the Powers screen inside the Event Hub.

New Brawlers

Nori
Legendary Assassin

As the child of Kenji and Kaze, Nori was always destined for great things. Being the first Brawler ever born in Starr Park has also given him extraordinary powers! He's not too bad at cooking either.

Attack — Fishing Fury
Nori slashes forwards. Charging his attack casts his fishing rod: the longer the charge, the farther he casts. He can pull himself to a wall or a Brawler, dashing through Brawlers and dealing damage. At max charge he jumps over walls. Hitting Brawlers with his main attack catches fish, which fuel his other abilities.
Super — Catch of the Day
Nori dives into water and emerges, dealing area damage after a short delay. The Super consumes all fish, gaining +5% size and +4% damage per fish.
Gadget 1 — Sushi Snack
Eats up to 3 fish, healing 1000 per fish. Cooldown: 12 seconds.
Gadget 2 — Gonna Need A Bigger Net
Aims a fishing net that roots the first Brawler hit for 1.25s and deals 800 damage. Cooldown: 20 seconds.
Star Power 1 — Big Haul
Nori catches 3 fish when his Super hits enemy Brawlers.
Star Power 2 — His Mother's Son
Nori gains +20% speed for 1 second whenever he hits an enemy with his main attack.

Wendy
Mythic Support

A smart scientist with a nostalgic soul. After years working in shady corporate laboratories, she left to build Windstock and help the planet, not harm it!

Trait
Wendy can walk over water, and charges her Super when taking shield damage.
Attack — Blow Dryer
Fires a blast dealing 2400 damage and giving herself a 1386 shield. When it hits a teammate, it gives them a 2000 shield instead.
Super — Planet Protector
Deploys a shield generator that absorbs 75% of the damage taken by Wendy and her teammates within its range.
Gadget 1 — Wind-Powered
Wendy's platform boosts her into a short jump. Cooldown: 15 seconds.
Gadget 2 — Green Grenade
Launches a wind grenade that slows all enemies hit and momentarily stops them from healing. Cooldown: 15 seconds.
Star Power 1 — Slowing Shield
Enemies inside Wendy's shield generator are slowed.
Star Power 2 — Solar Shield
Wendy's shield generator gains an additional 2000 health.

New Hypercharges

Starr Nova — The Hypercharge

Starr Nova becomes invulnerable while dashing and has almost unlimited ammo.

Bolt — Bowling Bolt

Bolt destroys all walls while his Hyper Super is active.

New Buffies

More Brawlers join the Buffies family this update. Each one gets 3 Buffies that boost their Gadgets, Star Powers and Hypercharge.

Rico — Buffies

Gadget 1 — Multiball Launcher (rework)

Rico deploys a vending machine with 4000 HP that fires projectiles in all directions when destroyed. Buffied: shooting the vending machine loads it up with more projectiles.

Gadget 2 — Bouncy Castle (rework)

Rico fires a giant gumball that splits into smaller projectiles when hitting a wall or an enemy Brawler. Buffied: both projectiles also slow enemy Brawlers.

Star Power 1 — Super Bouncy

After their first bounce, bullets from Rico's main attack and Super deal +240 damage. Buffied: bounced bullets give 10% Super charge on hit.

Star Power 2 — Robo Retreat

Rico moves 35% faster below 40% health. Buffied: movement speed scales up to 60% at 10% HP.

Hypercharge — Trick Shot King

Rico's Super projectiles bounce even further. Buffied: projectile speed increased and the main attack fires 2 additional projectiles.

Brock — Buffies

Super — Rocket Rain (rework)

Brock fires a rocket barrage that takes out enemies and obstacles, and it now tracks his movement so the barrage moves with him.

Gadget 1 — Rocket Laces (now aimable)

Brock rocket jumps, knocking back enemies and dealing 1000 damage on takeoff and landing. Buffied: +2s movement speed boost when it hits an enemy Brawler.

Gadget 2 — Rocket Fuel

Fires a large rocket that destroys terrain and deals 1000 damage. Buffied: the mega rocket splits into 4 smaller rockets dealing less damage.

Star Power 1 — More Rockets

Adds an extra salvo of rockets to Brock's Super. Buffied: Brock gains a speed boost while channeling the Super.

Star Power 2 — Rocket No. 4

Increases Brock's ammo by 1. Buffied: every 4 seconds his next attack gains increased range.

Hypercharge — Rocket Barrage

Rockets fired during the Super become cluster bombs. Buffied: rockets gain two smaller side rockets dealing 60% less damage.

8-Bit — Buffies

Gadget 1 — Cheat Cartridge

8-Bit teleports to his Damage Booster. Buffied: fully heals the Damage Booster and heals 8-Bit for 3600.

Gadget 2 — Extra Credits (rework)

Fires 18 projectiles, now usable during the main attack and aimable. Buffied: the projectiles also bounce to nearby enemies.

Star Power 1 — Boosted Booster

Increases the Damage Booster's range by 50% and damage by an extra 15%. Buffied: every 3s the Damage Booster spawns ammo lasting 8s and reloading 1 ammo.

Star Power 2 — Plugged In

8-Bit gains a 25% speed boost near the Damage Booster. Buffied: teammates get a 15% speed boost from it too.

Hypercharge — Aimbot

8-Bit's turret gets a laser that shoots nearby enemies for 230 damage. Buffied: infinite ammo during Hypercharge, and he can interrupt his main attack by firing a new one.

Meg — Buffies

Super — Mega Machina (rework)

Meg jumps into her Mecha suit for some colossal carnage. Entering the Mecha now deals 3000 damage to nearby opponents.

Gadget 1 — Jolting Volts (rework)

Usable only in Mecha form: the Mecha and nearby teammates heal 11% per second for 7 seconds. Buffied: heals for +2s.

Gadget 2 — Tool Box (rework)

Meg ejects, launching her Mecha forward for 1600 damage, then fully charges her Super over 4s. Buffied: the Mecha dash leaves a trail of fire dealing 30% of the damage for 3s.

Star Power 1 — Force Field

Meg gains a 40% shield when exiting the Mecha. Buffied: she also gains a speed boost while the shield is active.

Star Power 2 — Heavy Metal (rework)

The Mecha recovers 1200 health for each enemy hit with Meg's Super. Buffied: also steals 1 ammo from enemy Brawlers.

Hypercharge — Tungsten Toughness (updated)

Feel the Steel has increased range and enemies hit when the Mecha lands are slowed. Buffied: the Mecha's attacks explode in a small area, and out of Mecha, Meg's attacks fire an extra homing projectile.

Max — Buffies

Gadget 1 — Phase Shifter (now aimable)

Max dashes forward, immune to all damage while dashing. Buffied: she can dash again 3s after the first dash.

Gadget 2 — Sneaky Sneakers (QoL rework)

Max throws a lightning bolt; reactivating the Gadget or waiting 3s blinks her back to it, recovering all damage taken since it was placed. Buffied: blinking back also refills her ammo and heals nearby allies for the same amount.

Star Power 1 — Super Charged (rework)

Hitting an enemy with her main attack extends her Super by 0.25s. Buffied: teammates affected by her Super gain a shield for 4s.

Star Power 2 — Run N Gun

Hypercharge — Unlimited Energy

Buffied: Faster Blaster charges Max's and nearby allies' Supers when hitting enemies.

Star Power 1 — To the Max! (rework)

Surge's main attack bounces off walls. Buffied: bouncing off walls creates 2 smaller projectiles.

Star Power 2 — Serve Ice Cold (rework)

Surge always spawns with his Super. Buffied: while in Stage 3, Party Tricks grants a speed boost when using his Super.

Hypercharge — Stage 5 (rework)

Surge's Super gains increased range and shoots Justice Juice in every direction when landing. Buffied: Justice Juice fires a second projectile dealing less damage.

New events & bosses

Daily Contests

A fresh set of contests every day with a choice of 1 of 3 game modes and a limited number of attempts. Play at least one game to earn NanoDrops, then come back tomorrow for a brand-new lineup.

Topple the Tower

Climb a 5-floor tower, each floor a different pre-set map and game mode. You get a curated pool of 5-12 maxed-out Brawlers (Buffies included) and pick one per floor. Win and that Brawler is locked to the floor; lose and the Brawler is removed from the pool. One Tower per day. Clearing all 5 floors without a loss earns the "Unbeatable" title. Requires at least 8 Brawlers (reached around 325 Trophies). Team play is supported between players on the same floor.

Side Quests

Special Quests tied to the featured Brawlers of the week that progress a milestone tracker for extra rewards. Quests for Brawlers you don't own appear locked, and some require a specific Power Level.

Boss: Nori

Take on Nori and his trusty fish companions as he flies around the map with fierce fishing pole dashes and slashes.

Boss: Tara

An army of shadow clones, giant black holes and dangerous projectiles litter the map as you fight Tara and her squad.

Boss: Brock

More rockets, more chaos, more Brock. Weave between an onslaught of aerial rocket barrages against his nano-infused boss fight.

New game modes

Cooking modes — how they work

Teams get a set of orders to complete, each with a recipe of 3-5 ingredients that must be gathered and placed in a cooking station (Wok). Ingredients are carried by delivery bots roaming the map. Ten ingredient types: Noodle, Chili, Mushroom, Carrot, Pak Choi, Garlic, Fish, Shrimp, Egg and Soy Sauce. Only ingredients from available recipes can be placed in the Wok.

Combat Cooking (PvE)

A single team of 3 players with 3 orders to complete before time runs out. Delivery bots are protected by strong guard bots across 3 different guard types.

Food Fight (PvP)

Two teams of 3 share the same 3 orders and fight over ingredients. First team to complete all orders wins; if time runs out, the team with more completed orders wins; if tied, overtime starts and the first recipe completed wins.

Mecha Guard (PvE)

Arriving later in the update: players carry and charge a battery for Meg's Mecha, fighting off hordes of enemies and gaining power-ups. At the end, a fully charged Mecha joins them for an epic battle against a random giant boss enemy.

Balance changes — buffs

Buffs

  • Health increased 2500 → 2800
  • Main attack max damage increased 1700 → 1800

Piper has been outshone by other marksmen for some time. Extra health helps with trading, and the damage bump widens the pool of Brawlers she can quickly take down.

  • Main attack damage increased 1300 → 1400
  • Star Power — Hard Candy: Shield increased 40% → 50%

Like Piper, Mandy fell out of consideration after her Super/Hyper charge damage changes. She shouldn't one-shot every squishy Brawler, but she needs more damage to compete with other marksmen.

  • Super damage increased 600 → 800

Gale should be shining in such an aggressive meta, but his overall strength is too low to be a desirable pick.

  • Main attack reload speed decreased 2000 → 1800

Tara's core kit is still incredibly powerful but lacks consistency, so she gets more uptime on her damage.

  • Star Power — Shell Shock: Slow changed from 350 to 55%
  • Gadget — Fast Forward: Cooldown decreased 20s → 16s

Shelly is a fantastic counter to aggressive metas but falls short at overcoming that aggression — more dashing frequency and more control with Shell Shock.

  • Reload speed reduced 1600 → 1400

Throwers are struggling in an aggression-heavy meta; Mike gets more pressure and map control.

  • Super damage increased 150 → 200
  • Super — Lawrie HP increased 3000 → 3300

Extra oomph for the Twin, with more damage and survivability once Larry has ramped into his Super.

  • Main attack reload speed reduced 1700 → 1500
  • Main attack damage increased 1040 → 1100

More consistency and baseline damage so those threatening explosions rain in more often.

  • Super projectile speed increased 1504 → 1700
  • Hyper Super projectile speed increased 2104 → 2300

The main thing holding Barley back is how quickly he can get his damage and control out, so both Super forms get faster projectiles.

  • Super — GriGri's HP increased 3600 → 4000

Juju's main attack does great work, but GriGri was too weak to be a competitive pet.

  • Gadget — Grand Piano: Piano speed reduced 2500 → 1500
  • Main attack damage increased 1160 → 1280

Gray lacks the firepower to be used unless paired with a Brawler that makes full use of his portals. Baseline damage plus evening out his Gadgets makes him more consistent and versatile.

  • Movement speed at Level 0 increased 650 → 680
  • Speed bonus from Level 1 decreased 170 → 140

Surge often struggles to get out of his first stage, so some of the stage-one bonus moves into stage zero.

  • Super — Main attack damage increased 1000 → 1100
  • Health increased 3700 → 4000
  • Star Power — Mystical Star Technique: Healing increased 162 → 216

She has a tough time against assassins with larger burst windows, and Mystical Star Technique wasn't hitting the value bar.

  • Super charge rate increased 96 → 100
  • Hyper charge rate increased 25 → 30

Assassins and aggression drive the meta, but nobody invited Buzz out for fun. Slight availability buffs let him dive in more regularly.

Lou
  • Main attack projectile size increased 50 → 60

More reliability landing the main attack, without touching the power that makes him oppressive when too strong.

  • Main attack damage increased 740 → 820

Carl is Mr. Consistent, but not impactful enough compared to the current cast of damage dealers and anti-tanks.

  • Main attack heat consumption reduced 450 → 380

Recent heat changes made her Star Powers hard to use — more space to stay above the 80% threshold.

R-T
  • Main attack (Eat Static) damage increased 740 → 1240

After recent bug fixes to R-T's mark, his Super damage can safely return to its previous state.

Balance changes — nerfs

Nerfs

  • Gadget — Combo Spinner: Cooldown increased 15s → 18s
  • Gadget — Combo Spinner: Bonus damage to low health enemies decreased 50% → 30%
  • Gadget — Creature of the Night: Damage and healing reduced 760 → 700

Mortis has been the go-to assassin for some time with incredibly high Gadget burst. He should have fewer situations where two main attacks plus a Gadget fully take down a Brawler.

  • Gadget — Na Ah: Cooldown increased 17s → 22s
  • Star Power — Mass Tax: Damage reduction during Super lowered 75% → 60%
  • Super charge rate reduced 100 → 90

Colette became too versatile with her Buffies. Still strong, just less overwhelming.

  • Main attack poison duration reduced 4s → 3s
  • Main attack reload speed increased 1400 → 1600
  • Main attack damage increased 320 → 420
  • Health reduced 3000 → 2800
  • Hypercharge — Main attack returning damage reduced -30% → -40%

Crow is incredibly safe in most modes and maps: less consistent poke and vision control, more fragile, less damage uptime, and less Hypercharge burst with the Buffies.

  • Gadget — Lollipop Drop: Health reduced 1500 → 1000

Lollipop Drop was often used in situations the rest of his kit isn't ideal for, purely for the Gadget's power.

  • Super explosion damage reduced 1880 → 1600
  • Hyper Super explosion damage reduced 1880 → 1600
  • Gadget — Candy Beans: Damage boost reduced 25% → 20%
  • Gadget — Candy Beans: Reload speed reduced 200 → 150

Chester is versatile and safe, an ideal counter to much of the meta. A light touch, mostly on his high Candy Beans rolls and wall-breaking Super burst.

  • Gadget — Let's Fly: Cooldown increased 14s → 18s
  • Star Power — Fisticuffs: Healing from takedown reduced 30% → 20%
  • Hyper charge rate reduced 40 → 33

With his updated Let's Fly Gadget and Buffies, Edgar can roll over squishy comps and leave unscathed. Jumping in should be more meaningful and less frequent.

  • Main attack 3 damage reduced 2000 → 1800
  • Gadget — Windmill: Duration reduced 1.5s → 1s

Mina is high skill, high reward — but the final hit of her main attack paired with a well-timed Super left opponents unable to react, and Windmill made her too reliable in modes like Hot Zone.

  • Hyper charge rate reduced 40 → 35

Like Chester, Ruffs benefits from a meta that favours him. The aim is only to lower how often he hands out free Hypercharges.

  • Gadget — Rage Quit: Cooldown increased 18s → 20s
  • Gadget — Rage Quit: Radius decreased 2000 → 1600

Meeple crept up as a great counter to an aggressive meta through space control and Rage Quit safety against divers.

  • Hypercharge rate reduced 40 → 34

Shade is in a healthy spot but gets his Hyper too easily at the moment.

  • Gadget — Grim and Frostbitten: Duration reduced 3.9s → 3s
  • Gadget — Grim and Frostbitten: Size decreased 700 → 600

In the right hands Lumi is one of the strongest Brawlers around; this lowers her map-wide space control without making her unusable.

  • Super charge from Super reduced 80 → 50
  • Hypercharge — Snake health reduced 2000 → 1500

Najia is in a much healthier spot but still loops Supers too easily, and her Hypercharge snakes should be more manageable.

  • Gadget — Bottomless Mags: Cooldown increased 18s → 22s
  • Gadget — You Only Brawl Twice: Cooldown increased 12s → 18s

Pierce is the go-to marksman in 90% of cases thanks to safety against aggression plus last-shot looping. Both should be less available.

  • Main attack max damage reduced 900 → 760
  • Super damage increased 550 → 700
  • Super charge rate from Super reduced 100 → 90
  • Star Power — Unstoppaball: now grants crowd control immunity for 1 second after activating the Super, instead of CC immunity plus 15% top speed for the whole Super

Bolt does a bit too much damage and is too hard to slow down with Unstoppaball. Some main attack damage moves into the Super trail to make him less snowbally.

Balance changes — reworks

Reworks & changes

  • Main attack damage increased 490 → 540
  • Super charge rate decreased 106 → 90 (now 4 attacks instead of 3)
  • Star Power — Fertilize: Healing increased 50% → 75%
  • Gadget — Coin Shower: Damage increased 200 → 300
  • Gadget — Coin Shower: Cooldown reduced 20s → 15s
  • Gadget — Coin Shower: Duration increased 5s → 6s
  • Gadget — Piggy Bank: Max explosion range reduced 1200 → 1000
  • Star Power — Keep the Change: Now shoots a 4th salvo in the same amount of time as 3
  • Super: Speakers now break after bouncing an enemy Brawler
  • Super: Speaker damage increased 600 → 800
  • Hypercharge: Damage increased 400 → 600
